Position: RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery for a 13-week contract in Rochester, New York — earn up to ($2517 - $2650 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.

Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.

Achieve individual performance targets and contribute to team goals.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.

Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Assist in the management of labor and delivery emergencies.

Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.

Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

Evaluate and implement best practices in patient care.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.

Experience/Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York State with L&D specialty certification.

Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing.

Experience in managing labor and delivery emergencies.

Willingness to engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

Proven ability to monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.

Ability to educate patients and families on delivery processes.

Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols.

Strong collaboration skills with healthcare team for patient care planning.

Proficient in accurate documentation of patient care activities.
