Overview
Provide fast and effective support to Transportation and/or Warehouse end-users and customers. You will be required to respond to support requests in person and over the phone. Assess and diagnose software issues. Implement enhancements and upgrades. Install transportation and/or warehouse software. Consult the transportation and/or warehouse business. Implement projects as both a team member and/or leader. Serve as an escalation point for end-users and customers and assist with complex issues. Provide software training, as well as miscellaneous transportation and/or warehouse related support. You should have advanced knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse software systems such as: TMW TruckMate TMS and Cadence. Requires excellent logical, diagnostic, and organizational skills, as well as high-level communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities

Time spent for assigned duties and responsibilities is estimated as follows: Working with Internal End-Users 65%, Working with Outside Vendors/Contractors 25%, Working with External Customers 10%
You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST
Requirements

Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an end-user technical support role, 2-year technical degree, advanced knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse software systems
Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and friendly desk-side manner are a must
1+ year experience writing and understanding DB2 and/or SQL code
Ability to manage incoming transportation and/or warehouse related tickets evaluate, assign priority, and resolve, with assistance from vendor if necessary
Review open tickets and provide updates to end-users and customers as needed
Experience with Crystal reports is a plus
Experience with PeopleNet is a plus
Ability to upgrade and patch enterprise software systems (including maintaining a test environment)
Experience with mobile device management solutions is a plus (MobileIron, SOTI)
Ability to write end-user guides, SOPs, and comfortable training users and customers to use a variety of systems
Prior experience working in or consulting in the distribution, logistics, transportation, or warehouse industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong time and project management skills
Ability to rapidly learn new software applications and functionality
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proven experience in working remote and interacting with team members through web conferencing
