Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off

As our next Despatch Operative, you will be excited by the opportunity join our award-winning logistics team where you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, helping to ensure our iconic Hovis products reach supermarket shelves across the UK.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the efficient picking, packing, and despatch of bakery products, working closely with your team to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. Using industry-standard systems and equipment, you’ll make sure every order is accurate, timely, and meets customer expectations.

You won’t be the type of person who wants to sit at a desk all day, instead you’ll enjoy being on your feet within a fast-paced manual environment. You’ll be self-motivated, have good attention to detail and work well as part of a team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills and gain valuable operational experience within a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Key requirements:

A good ability to work as part of a team.

Good with numbers and good attention to detail.

Experience of working within a despatch or warehouse environment (desirable).

Awareness of the importance of health and safety.

IT literate with a basic understanding of using electronic devices
