The Supplier Quality Engineer for Purchased Materials aims to ensure that all bought products for in Europe are defined and produced according to Ecolab, customers and interested parties’ requirements and that it follows the specifications and legal requirements. This role also has the responsibility to ensure that the products are reliable and in compliance with engineering and product specifications. This person should act as an ambassador for quality assurance.

What You Will Do:
Support Global team on Supplier improvement process
Assess new suppliers with regards to Global Ecolab process
Manage the quality aspects of SCAR process and KPI’s
Support the new introduction program new components
Deploy and assure quality and regulatory requirements
Be the key support of Stake holders on improvement and/or sourcing
Audit the system and the process of the suppliers
Work on new procedure or maintain current ones according International Standards
Work into a matrix organization and provide support to the divisions
Provide continuous improvement on Supplier data base and product
Give an energic support on MPDQ saving program
Quality connection to external supply base
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering (industrial, mechanical) 5 years of experience managing quality systems with three in relation with Supplier quality and ideally in relation with Procurement and/or RDE.
Experience in a QA Management Role within an Engineering/Manufacturing production process environment, and experience in plastic molding and R&DE equipment development, where relevant formal qualification is required.
Technical skills in RDE / production process continuous improvement
Full understanding on the requirements for the product or service and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the competition.
Ability to work independently, prioritizes multiple projects, addresses multiple issues and handles multiple deadlines, in a hands-on environment.
Excellent communicator – verbal and written – with the ability to persuade and influence.
Excellent team player. Confident and Assertive.
Resourceful, well organized, efficient and detail orientated.
Ethical conscientious and responsible.
Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and sense of urgency.
Comfortable with IT systems – data analysis - SAP / ERP

Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge on data analysis/statistical methods.
Understanding of other people's work disciplines, such as manufacturing, operations, procurement and RD&E.
