Job Purpose Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of our esteemed client is seeking a driven and personable Power Mechanics Teacher.

Your primary role will be delivering in-depth knowledge of their specific subject/Learning area, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student learning through various methods, providing feedback to students, monitoring progress, managing classroom behavior, maintaining student records, communicating with parents, and participating in professional development activities.

Key Responsibilities Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and practical activities aligned with the Power Mechanics syllabus.

Deliver both theory and hands-on/mechanical workshop lessons using demonstrations, experiments, and real-world applications.

Design and administer quizzes, practical tests, projects, and continuous assessments, and provide timely feedback to support improvement.

Maintain order, ensure safety standards during practical sessions, and promote a productive learning environment.

Track academic and practical skill development for each learner, identify weak areas, and implement remedial interventions.

Share student performance, conduct consultations, and provide academic guidance where necessary.

Maintain assessment records, attendance registers, progress reports, and workshop maintenance records.

Work with other teachers on curriculum delivery, student support, and co-curricular integration of STEM principles.

Engage in continuous training, workshops, and teaching improvement programs to enhance instructional skills.

Undertake additional roles assigned by management, including mentorship, club involvement, or technical support in school events.

Qualifications Diploma/BED specializing in Power Mechanics 2 years’ experience as a TVET or high school or Junior School teacher.
