Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Iowa, requiring an active IA or compact RN license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
Work in the Medical/Surgical department of a hospital
Use Epic EMR system
Must be willing to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Not open to local travelers; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Must be available to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
Only 1 day off can be requested between 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2
Epic EMR experience is utilized in the department
Returning travelers may not be considered if employed within the last 12 months
Requirements
Active Iowa or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
Current BLS certification from AHA required
All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending will not be accepted
Must provide a supervisory reference from within the last 2 years
