The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals.
This role leads cross-functional teams—including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and HR—to drive performance in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong technical knowledge, a commitment to continuous improvement, and proven experience managing high-performance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Lead and manage all plant operations to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Develop and execute production plans aligned with company objectives and customer demand.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
Manage plant budgets, cost control, and capital expenditures to achieve financial goals.
Oversee workforce planning, training, and development to ensure a skilled, engaged, and motivated team.
Partner with Quality to uphold and enhance product standards and compliance requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). Minimum 8–10 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in a plant leadership role.
Proven track record of improving safety, efficiency, and quality metrics.
Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Continuous Improvement principles.
Experience managing P&L and operational budgets.
Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
