We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka, looking for a Associate HR (HR Outsourcing) The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes for multiple client organizations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, HR operations, and excellent organizational skills to deliver timely and accurate results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing: Accurately process monthly payroll for multiple client companies, ensuring timely disbursement and compliance with internal and statutory requirements.

Statutory Compliance: Calculate and process all statutory deductions such as EPF, ETF, and PAYE, and prepare and submit related returns to relevant authorities.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, payroll files, and HR documentation.

Auditing & Reporting: Liaise with auditors, prepare supporting documents, and ensure accuracy in financial and compliance reporting.

Regulatory Updates: Stay informed on changes in payroll legislation, taxation, and HR best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency.

Client Support: Collaborate with client companies to address payroll-related queries and provide excellent customer service.

System Management: Operate and manage payroll across multiple HR and payroll platforms with precision and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience in Payroll Management or Human Resource Management.

Bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field from a recognized institute.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience using HRIS or payroll software.

Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements (EPF, ETF, PAYE, etc.).

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple client accounts efficiently.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.

Adaptability and eagerness to stay updated on payroll legislation and HR best practices.
