Occupational Therapist-Per Diem

Job Description

Seeking several per diem therapists with experience in any or all of the following aquatic therapy, lymphedema treatment, pediatric therapy, and/or adult neurological therapy.

Responsible for providing individualized occupational therapy services with timely documentation in the Outpatient Neurology Department. Performs initial evaluation, develops treatment plan and provides necessary therapy as needed and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in New York State.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

1-year clinical experience; strong organizational skills; good communication skills; experience in outpatient programs; familiarity with outpatient regulations; and documentation requirements. Experience working with a team and strong ability to monitor therapy progress and create home carryover programs.
