Indigenous Executive Assistant
Our client is looking for a superstar!
Are you a seasoned Executive Assistant with experience in preparing highly professional letters and documents? Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment? In addition to this critical requirement, you will bring experience with the following:
Manage mostly business-related tasks such as creating reports, organizing travel and accommodation, taking minutes, and other organizational tasks
Keeping a senior executive informed
Manage Financial tracking on spreadsheets, Invoices, etc
Practiced at writing correspondence and taking meeting notes
Do you have a firm understanding of Indigenous communities, issues, values, and traditions? If so, then our client wants to hear from you.
This exciting, position is responsible for keeping our client’s CSO informed and up to date. Our successful candidate will have Executive Assistant experience as well as experience in arranging travel and attending board meetings. Our ideal candidate is organized, well-written, and detail orientated.

Qualifications:
Several years of executive administrative experience.
Experience working for an Indigenous organization or within an Indigenous (First Nation, Métis, Inuit) community/organization.
Post-secondary education in office administration or a related discipline desirable
Outstanding organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Canva, Monday.com, Trello, Assauna - PM Software experience
Proficiency with office equipment
Strong listening, oral and written communication skills
Driver’s license
