Are you passionate about shaping landscapes and optimizing mining operations? We’re looking for a Mining and Land Planning Specialist to play a key role in mine planning, reclamation, and land-use strategies for aggregate properties. This position offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with environmental stewardship, ensuring sustainable and efficient operations.What You’ll Do
Lead Mine Planning: Develop and manage site mine plans from concept through completion.
Design & Documentation: Prepare architectural drawings, renderings, and specifications to meet project requirements.
Annual Planning: Assist in the yearly mine planning process, aligning with operational and regulatory standards.
Permitting: Coordinate mining permits with municipalities and regulatory agencies.
Reclamation: Create and implement reclamation plans that comply with environmental regulations, including managing stripping and reclamation activities.
Site Assessments: Conduct inspections and integrate reclamation strategies into broader initiatives.
Land Evaluation: Analyze environmental and geological factors for potential land acquisitions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and environmental teams to ensure project success.
Additional Duties: Support the Manager with other assigned tasks.What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience (aggregate operations experience is a plus).
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of building codes, zoning ordinances, and quality control procedures.
Physical ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working outdoors in varied terrain and weather conditions.
Valid Driver’s License required.Benefits Offering

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
