Specialty Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist (ARRT) (also referred to as Cardiovascular Interventional Tech or VIR Tech) Position Details Facility: Doctor’s Hospital – Columbus, OH Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00–17:30) Call: 8–10 shifts/month (includes 1–2 weekends) Schedule: Every other weekend, every other holiday Block scheduling: Possible Radius rule: Must live >50 miles from facility Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography program Licenses/Certifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) ODH Ohio Radiologic License BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Experience: Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience; IR experience preferred Skills Required: Scrub, circulate, and monitor cath/IR procedures Knowledge of anatomy, hemodynamics, radiation safety, sterile technique, and imaging systems Primary Responsibilities Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures Operate X-ray and hemodynamic monitoring equipment Maintain sterile field and patient safety Perform in multiple interventional areas: Cath Lab Vascular/IR EP (Electrophysiology) Neurointerventional
