Salary: $16 - $18
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Coordinates patient care through the clinic: checking in, prepping, escorting to exam rooms, preparing exam or treatment rooms, answering questions, providing post-appointment service, monitoring the waiting room.
Answers inquiriesby phone and in person in a helpful, accurate and efficient manner.
Maintains appointment schedule and manages recalls
Maintainselectronicmedical record, including the patient chart. Performs tasks (including linking, uploading, and referrals) in support of patient care.
Ensures exam rooms are stocked appropriately and ensures that they are ready for next patient
Ensures patient confidentiality by honoring the HIPAA Privacy Standards and OSHA standards
Assists providers when requested.
Cleans and sterilizes materials and instruments.
Performs patient prep procedures and documents findings in the patient record
Performs all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required.
Provides patient care with a customer service lens.
Works and learns the audio department and able to perform audiology testing
Works and learns the allergy department and is able to perform allergy testing and give shots
Works and learns in office surgeries such as sinus dilation.

Job Requirements:
General Skills and Abilities:
EMR skills/Eclinicals a plus
Must know how to type
Works well in a team environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency on a computer
Speed and accuracy
Clinical Skills and Abilities:
Prepare patients and set up exam rooms for examinations
Must be able to give injections and draw blood
Must be able to accurately measure and document patient vitals
Must be able to maintain and operate an autoclave
Must be able to transport and log patient laboratory tests
Must understand the importance of HIPAA and OSHA standards
This person will also be cross trained for the front desk. ENT Experience is a plus.
