Optigy is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum opportunity in Laredo, TX. This position offers flexible scheduling in a busy emergency department environment with a strong focus on high-quality patient care.Requirements

Active Texas medical license and TX DEA (must be in hand)

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Family/Internal Medicine (ABFM/ABIM or osteopathic equivalents)

Residency trained in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty

Certified in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS

Documentation required:

CME (past 2 years)

Case logs (past 2 years)

Copies of diplomas and training certificates

SS card, drivers license, and recent color photo

Proof of TB/Flu compliance

Annual completion of 9 hours Stroke CME and 9 hours Trauma CME

ATLS not required for ABEM physicians (initial certification only)Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients of all ages

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation

Deliver care consistent with professional and hospital standardsAdditional Information

Daily overtime after 12 hours; weekly OT after 168 hours
