Job Description
Serve in a vital classroom support role as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This position provides instructional assistance and behavioral support during staff absences in a K–12 school setting.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Paraprofessional Certificate OR 60 college credit hours
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience in education, youth programs, or childcare preferred
Clear communication and a calm, encouraging demeanor
Ability to manage student needs with patience and care
Daily Responsibilities:
Help implement instructional activities prepared by the teacher
Work with students individually or in small groups
Monitor and support appropriate student behavior
Assist during classroom transitions, lunch, and recess
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
This position allows for flexible scheduling and rewarding school-based work.
Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
