Responsibilities
Meet with clients to determine survey needs
Oversee boundary and topographic surveys in the field and office
Establish project expectations, calculate survey data
Oversee and participate in the preparation of computer-generated maps and reports based on survey data
Maintain accurate records, files and documentation including field notes
Prepare budgets for projects, proposals, and technical reports
Review and certify work when complete
Open to daily travel and overnight travel to client sites
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have PLS license for IL
Prefer experience with boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys, construction staking and data collection
Prefer experience with robotic total stations and GNSS receivers
Prefer experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong work ethic and accountability
Clean driving record required (no more than 3 accidents and/or moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 accidents and or moving violations within the last 12 months)
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Flexibility to work in an office environment and field environment
$100,000 - $140,000 a year
Salaries for all position are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, total years of experience in the industry, education, skills, and qualifications. Compensation may vary depending on the candidate's individual background and expertise.
