Who We're Looking For: We seek a compassionate, professional team player with a willingness to learn. Experience with Avimark is a definite plus. As a clinic that operates in a fast-paced environment, we need someone who can handle stressful situations and emergencies with ease. Having a positive attitude is the first step towards making a real impact.

Responsibilities:

Restraining dogs and cats for procedures/exams

Acquiring samples for diagnostic tests, including venipuncture and radiology

Running diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, parasite screenings, and cytologies

Assisting in surgical procedures

Assisting dental cleanings

Caring for hospitalized patients

Filling prescriptions

Loading, prepping, and assisting in exam rooms

General cleaning and maintenance of the hospital and its equipment

Managing inventory

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Other similar tasks are required to keep the clinic running smoothly

Job Requirements:

Proficient at restraining both dogs and cats

Good teamwork ethic and a positive attitude

Drug Testing: We are a Drug-Free Workplace member, so applicants must be willing to undergo drug testing.

Pay Rate: $13 to $18 based on experience, with room for flexibility contingent upon skills, experience, and background.

Work Schedule:

1 Saturday every other week (8:00 am to 2:30 pm)

10-hour shifts 4 times a week on alternating weeks
