Property Manager – Affordable Housing
Big Lake, MN $65,000–$70,000 Full-Time
We’re seeking an experienced Property Manager with affordable housing experience to oversee a well-maintained apartment community in Big Lake. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, resident relations, and team leadership within the affordable housing sector.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with HUD, Section 42, or other affordable housing programs
Supervise leasing and maintenance staff to ensure quality performance and resident satisfaction
Manage budgets, rent collections, and financial reporting
Conduct inspections, handle resident issues, and maintain strong occupancy levels
Ensure all recertifications, renewals, and documentation meet program and audit standards
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of affordable housing management experience required
Strong understanding of HUD, Section 8, and Tax Credit regulations
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred
Compensation & Schedule:
$65,000–$70,000 annually (based on experience)
Full-time, Monday–Friday
