Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our client's team in Markham, ON. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various home care environments.
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, competent, and client-centered nursing care in home and community settings.
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress.
Provide care to clients with geriatric, dementia, acute care, and post-surgical needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding care plans, treatments, and health management.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Work Hours:
Part-Time to start
Opportunity to transition to Full-Time based on performance and client needs.
Skills:
Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in home care, geriatrics, dementia care, acute care, or post-surgical recovery.
Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin (verbal proficiency required).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle an asset.
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening result
CPR/First Aid certification (current).
