Oar Staffing is conducting a search on behalf of a leading manufacturing client in the Akron area for an experienced Quality Control Engineer with EHS experience. This is a direct hire opportunity with excellent compensation and work-life balance.

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: 65K + 85K

Position Overview

The Quality Control Engineer will play a key role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting both product quality initiatives and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS).

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards

Identify and resolve quality-related issues

Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs

Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations

Monitor product quality and manufacturing processes

Recommend and implement process improvements

Perform and support internal audits

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field

3–5 years of experience in Quality and EHS engineering, preferably within electronics manufacturing

Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and/or ISO 14001 standards

Experience with internal auditing

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and documentation abilities
