ABOUT THE ROLEThe Terminal Operator safely operates all equipment at the location used to unload rail cars and unload/load trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.

This person also maintains the equipment and grounds of the site.\nWHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH\n\nDemonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.\nPractice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).\nExercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment.\nTerminal Operators need the ability to communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms, and suppliers.\nMaintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.\nCarry out tasks related to loading/unloading bulk material, as appropriate for the specific location.\nOperate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent or 1-3 years of equivalent experience.\nBasic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP is preferred.\nHigh Mechanical aptitude and ability.

Knowledge of office equipment.

Pleasant and positive attitude working with co-workers, customers, and the public.

Physical ability to work at heights, confined-enclosed areas, and perform unloading functions.

\nMust be able to complete paperwork\nCandidates with a mechanical background and welding experience are desirable\nAutonomous, meticulous, good judgment\nCourteous with customers\nKnows and applies safe working practices\nAttestation on any kind of training an asset\nKnowledge of cement, the construction industry, and integrated computer systems is preferred.\nGood communication skills\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\nDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.

Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\nSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
