Python Backend Engineer (Data Processing & Analytics)

About the Role: We're seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our team. You'll be responsible for building robust backend systems, implementing data processing pipelines, and developing analytics solutions that drive business insights. This contract position offers the opportunity to work on challenging technical problems in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python frameworks.

• Build and optimize data processing pipelines for large-scale data handling.

• Implement analytics solutions to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development.

• Strong proficiency in Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).

• Experience with data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and analytics tools.

• Solid understanding of SQL and database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data pipeline tools (Apache Airflow, Celery, or similar).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).

• Experience working in agile development environments.
