Job Description:

Overview:

We're seeking a senior-level .NET full-stack developer to lead the development and modernization of one of our clients systems. This role focuses on replacing legacy systems with a new web-based platform, mentoring team members, and ensuring secure, high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop & Maintain Applications:

Build and support applications using .NET (VB.NET/C#), Angular, and SQL, ensuring performance and security.

Lead Technical Design:

Translate complex requirements into scalable solutions and guide integration with other systems.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Oversee unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure code quality and system stability.

Production Support:

Act as the lead for resolving production issues, monitoring system performance, and reducing technical debt.

Modernization & Mentorship:

Drive modernization efforts, lead team meetings, and mentor developers on new technologies and best practices.

Operational Oversight:

Support application performance, advise leadership on technical issues, and help with planning and prioritization.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with .NET (VB.NET/C#), Angular, SQL, and full-stack development

Deep understanding of secure coding practices and system integration

Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and software lifecycle processes

Experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of DMV systems, SEC 501 standards, and mainframe environments

Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based development

Background in public sector or regulated environments

Education & Certifications:

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field

Certifications like Azure Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert are a plus

Experience:

Proven experience in .NET and Angular development

Strong background in system integration and production support

Experience leading teams, mentoring developers, and managing complex projects
