Well Servicing Floorhand Job Description
Reports To: Operator; Tool Pusher
General Summary of Position:
Under the direction of the Operator and Tool Pusher, the Floorhand is responsible for monitoring and maintaining procedures of the daily operations of the rig while
making sure that work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations. The Floorhand is responsible
for and assists in all duties on the rig to include rigging up and down, picking up or laying down tubing/rods, working the floor, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the operator in rigging up and down (For example, set hydraulic jacks, handles pads/boards and assists in attaching the guy wires
to the anchor)
Assists in picking up or laying down tubing, manually lifting the tubing from the rack onto the work floor or vice versa
Assists in walking the rods when laying down and picking up rods
Assists in rigging the Geronimo up and down
Responsible for setting up and running tongs
Assist in pipe tallying, pipe handling, and nipple up and down of BOP units
Ability to rig up and down and operate mud pump and tank
Responsible for keeping equipment, work site, dog house and tools clean and in good working order
Assist in the daily inspection and maintenance of equipment and tools which may include cleaning, greasing, oil changes and other duties

Drives the crew truck and operate equipment as needed
Attend and participate in daily JSA and routine safety meetings as scheduled
Responsible to stop work if conditions are unsafe and report concerns and incidents immediately per the standard operating procedures
Complete all safety forms such as near misses, Hazard ID’s, vehicle inspections, and other forms as needed
May be required to work derricks if applicable or in training period
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a team setting
Competent communication skills, both verbal and written in English in order to understand and give instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
Availability to work beyond 8-hour work day; available to work weekends and holidays if needed
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum one-year experience of workover rig experience preferred
Certifications and Licenses:
Must have valid Driver’s License, Commercial Driver’s License preferred

Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach and move about rig location
Exposure to varying weather conditions, such as rain and extreme heat and cold
Exposure to loud noises
Required to lift and move heavy objects regularly
