We are seeking a results-driven Site Operations Director to lead and manage operational performance across our two critical sites: the high-output production facility in Trinity, Florida, and the New Product Introduction (NPI) hub in Keene, New Hampshire. This role is pivotal to ensuring the delivery of world-class optical components and systems to some of the largest Defense and Aerospace Primes in the United States.

This is an onsite leadership position based in Trinity, FL, with regular travel to our Keene facility to support cross-site alignment and drive excellence in NPI execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of day-to-day operations at the Trinity production facility, ensuring quality, delivery, cost, and safety targets are met or exceeded.

Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives at the Keene facility, working closely with engineering, program management, and customers to ensure successful transfer through to volume production.

Proven experience in the ability to rapidly scale a high-mix, low-volume operation.

Drive operational performance improvement through lean manufacturing, process optimization, and workforce engagement.

Partner closely with quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Develop and execute strategies to support aggressive growth plans while maintaining high standards of compliance and operational excellence.

Maintain strong customer focus, particularly with major Defense and Aerospace clients.

Foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Provide leadership and mentorship to site leadership teams, developing future operational talent across both facilities.

Infrared (IR) lens and zoom lens assemblies

Precision coated optics

Periscope and sighting systems

Advanced reticles and custom optical components

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role, ideally within Defense, Aerospace, or a precision optics/manufacturing environment.

Strong track record of managing multi-site operations or complex cross-functional teams.

Expertise in lean manufacturing, NPI processes, and operational scaling.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to travel regularly to the Keene, NH facility.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
