CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, CAD/CAM software, and the ability to read blueprints. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.

1st shift - Monday to Friday 6AM - 2:30PM $35

2nd Shift - Monday to Friday 2:30PM - 11PM $35 + 10% shift differential

Duties

Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling machines using Fanuc controls and MasterCam software.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.

Utilize CAD and CAM programming tools to create efficient machining processes.

Conduct geometry calculations and apply mathematical principles to ensure accuracy in production.

Set up CNC machines, including tool selection, calibration, and adjustments.

Quality control inspections of finished products.

Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in using Fanuc controls and MasterCam software is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of CAD/CAM systems and blueprint reading skills.

Solid mathematical skills, including geometry knowledge for precise calculations.

Experience with 3-axis milling machines.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
