Operations Specialist

Your Impact
As an Operations Specialist, you’ll play a key role in leading the Coating and Rewinding department and potentially Shipping/Receiving, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, team development, and cross-functional collaboration that supports overall plant success.
What You’ll Be Doing
Directly supervising hourly team members and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
Managing daily and weekly production schedules in coordination with planning teams
Leading team meetings, performance check-ins, and training initiatives
Driving lean manufacturing practices including 5S, TPM, and root cause analysis
Supporting maintenance planning, downtime tracking, and standard work improvements
Monitoring production metrics and leading initiatives to meet or exceed goals
What You’ll Bring
3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of Lean principles and hands-on experience with 5S and TPM
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and collaboration across departments
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
Familiarity with chemical use and handling a strong plus
