What You Will Do:

Intern will perform aircraft maintenance and servicing on the general aviation aircraft in the state agency’s fleet.

Observes and assists in a live maintenance environment

ensure documents and records are maintained in compliance with federal law.

Who we are looking for:

Working towards a degree in Aviation Maintenance Management or other Aviation Maintenance degree

Perusing an FAA rating for Airframe and Powerplant License

Some degree of mechanical aptitude

Someone self-disciplined, versatile, and coachable

Someone with computer software and program skills for computerized maintenance programs

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and in good academic standing.

If operating a state-owned vehicle, must show proof of a valid driver's license or must provide own transportation.

The rate of pay is based upon the student's academic status

Freshman and Sophomore - $15.46 per hour

Junior and Senior - $15.96 per hour

Graduate Students - $19.41 per hour
