Job Details Job Details: Are you a seasoned professional with a knack for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems?
Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Permanent Chimney Technician in the Manufacturing industry.
This role offers the chance to utilize and expand your skills while working on a variety of challenging projects.
As a Permanent Chimney Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities: In this critical role, you will be responsible for the following: 1.
Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing industrial chimneys to ensure their optimal functioning and safety.
2.
Performing routine preventative maintenance and service for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
3.
Diagnosing and repairing faults in these systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to manufacturing processes.
4.
Complying with all relevant safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). 5.
Providing expert advice and recommendations on the maintenance and improvement of chimney and related systems.
6.
Keeping detailed records of all inspections, maintenance work, and repairs carried out.
7.
Collaborating with other members of the maintenance team to ensure the smooth running of all systems within the manufacturing facility.
Qualifications: To be considered for this exciting role, you will need: 1.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
2.
Proven experience in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing industrial chimneys.
3.
A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
4.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults in a variety of systems.
5.
A proactive approach to preventative maintenance, with the ability to identify potential issues before they cause disruption.
6.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and to communicate complex information in a clear and understandable way.
7.
A relevant trade qualification or certification would be highly advantageous.
