Great vertical mobility and career growth potential Job Details Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for sitework and civil construction projects (site prep, excavation, utilities, roadwork, finishes) * Review construction documents, assess project scope, and collaborate with designers, CMs, and owners to clarify bid requirements * Develop subcontractor scopes and manage the full bid process including vendor pricing, value engineering, and risk evaluation * Present bid packages to senior leadership and contribute to bid strategy and margin analysis * Ensure timely, accurate estimate completion aligned with client expectations and project timelines * Participate in pre-bid, pre-construction, and internal kickoff meetings to ensure full project team understanding * Build and maintain strong relationships with GCs, subs, vendors, and key project stakeholders * Contribute to business development efforts, interviews, and pursuit presentations Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture (or equivalent experience) * 8+ years of combined field, project management, and estimating experience * Proficiency with Construction Link, Agetek, Sage 300 (Timberline), or comparable estimating tools * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and CAD software * Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a CORI background check * OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain) * Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills Nice to Haves * Inner-city construction estimating experience (Boston and metro area) * Value engineering and risk analysis background * Familiarity with public and private bid processes * Knowledge of excavation and shoring techniques Interested in hearing more?
