Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python, and PowerBI, with a proven track record of leveraging these tools to deliver quality data management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Python, and SQL to extract, normalize, and analyze large datasets.
Develop and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation and normalization.
Create visualizations and interactive dashboards using PowerBI & Fabric to communicate insights to clients and project stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand core business purpose and value of data insights to be developed.
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in database management.
Collaborate with other data analysts and software professionals, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on SQL, Python, and PowerBI.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in managing and analyzing complex datasets
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization.
Implement secure coding practices across data pipelines using robust authentication, authorization, and secret management tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with MS SQL database maintenance.
Experience with data lakes and data warehousing best practices.
Experience with Azure Functions and cloud automation of data flows.
Experience with data import, pre-processing and normalization methods & tools for work in data cleansing and Q&A.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience working in an agile development environment.
