Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join our innovative agency. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites that align with our clients’ goals and brand identity.

You will also be responsible for content entry tasks to help us build websites, using CMS such as WordPress and Drupal.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our creative team to develop wireframes and responsive website designs that meet clients’ requirements and align with their brand guidelines

Ensure website designs are responsive, optimized for usability, and accessible using industry standards such as WCAG and a11y

Assist with content entry tasks across multiple projects using CMS and visual layout tools for our client websites.

Stay up to date with the latest design trends, web technologies, and best practices

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and project managers

Assist in providing estimates and timelines for web design projects

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Design, UX/UI, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

A strong portfolio showcasing a trained eye for design and keen understanding of User Experience. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Extensive knowledge of Figma’s latest features.

Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices

Experience creating detailed wireframes and style guides.

Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG, a11y, etc.)

Ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics

Nice-to-haves:

Any web development skills are a huge plus!

Experience building websites using CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, etc.

Familiarity with SEO principles
