Please note that this is a maternity cover vacancy - temporary position lasting for 12 months.

The position

In Solid Dosage Forms (SDF) DK, LEAN is more than just a set of tools, it is a culture and a mindset that are continuously developed within our organisation. As one of our Department LEAN Partners, you will report to a department manager and be a part of the department leadership team. Your LEAN colleagues will consist of Departments LEAN partners from other departments, and a centralised LEAN team with Lean partners and Specialists supporting across the business unit.

Your main tasks will be:

Leading LEAN initiatives in the department and improving LEAN maturity

Support development of LEAN competences in management group

Support problem solving activities in the department

Driving strategy deployment

Implementation and improvement of lean systems or tools to solve business challenges

Facilitate process mapping activities (e.g. Value stream mapping)

Involvement in in cross organisational lean projects as part of a lean network across the business unit

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

Within CMC & Product Supply sits SVP area Emerging Technologies in Måløv, where you will join department of Solid Dosage Forms (SDF) DK with 800+ employees, who are responsible for the market production of oral products such as tablets for diabetics and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to women in menopause.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have:

Academic degree in fields such as Engineering, Business, or any other related area

Basic knowledge of LEAN principles and a motivation to achieve results within a manufacturing environment – preferably in a regulated setting

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders

Hands-on experience with visual management and a keen interest in making data-driven decisions

Fluency in English and the ability to communicate orally in Danish

On a personal level, you are positive, collaborative and solution orientated. You work systematically, logically, and proactive. You can interact and communicate at all levels of the organization, taking pride in solving tasks and challenges in close collaboration with your key stakeholders. You are a team player but are not afraid to work independently when coaching and challenging leaders or collecting data in the production.
