Cobol Developer

COBOL Knowledge

Understanding of COBOL syntax, structures, and logic to accurately interpret legacy code for conversion.

Candidates must demonstrate: COBOL projects on their resume, work experience at organisations using COBOL.

CCB Experience

Familiarity with Oracle CCB, particularly version 2.6 or similar versions. Experience in its architecture, functionality, and configuration.

Candidates must demonstrate: Hands-on project experience with Oracle CCB, certifications related to Oracle CCB.

Java Development Expertise

Proficiency in Java, especially in converting business logic from COBOL to Java.

Experience with Java EE frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).

Database Management

Knowledge of the databases used with CCB, typically Oracle DB, and handling changes during migration from COBOL to Java.
