Vice President of Network Development Location: Richmond, VA or Remote Ready to lead growth and impact in the evolving healthcare landscape?

We’re seeking a bold, strategic Vice President of Network Development to expand and strengthen partnerships across a national healthcare services network.

This executive role drives third-party contracting, operational excellence, and innovation in managed care.

Where You’ll Make an Impact: Build and grow a high-performing national provider network within the managed healthcare and insurance space.

Lead third-party contract strategy—driving competitive reimbursement models across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid segments.

Manage cross-functional teams focused on payment operations, compliance, audit services, and program delivery.

Align emerging technologies and systems with member organization needs—ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.

Partner directly with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to shape long-term strategy and financial performance.

Represent the organization as a thought leader at executive forums, industry events, and legislative discussions (up to 25% travel). What You Bring: 10+ years of executive leadership in managed care, health insurance, or healthcare services.

Proven success negotiating third-party payer agreements and growing provider networks.

Strong financial acumen, team leadership, and big-picture decision-making skills.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or J.D.

preferred.
