Job Description
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will play a critical role in managing all phases of multiple site development projects simultaneously. Reporting to the Division Director and Director of Operations, the SPM will oversee 1 APM, collaborate with field superintendents, and manage 3-4 crews per project. This is a hybrid role (in-office Mondays and Thursdays) with site visits as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project schedules, customer communication, and direct oversight of self-performed work
Prepare submittals, safety paperwork, Miss Utility tickets, and coordinate project kickoff
Track and manage monthly billing and projections (AIA billing)
Order project materials in coordination with estimators
Attend preconstruction meetings and track jobsite production goals
Review and analyze site drawings, cut sheets, and project documentation
Create and manage Change Order proposals
Work with Excel-based production templates (transitioning to project management software in 2025)

The Successful Applicant
We're seeking a dynamic leader with a hands-on management style and exceptional organizational skills. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, practical field experience, and excellent client-facing communication abilities.
Must-Haves:
Minimum 5 years of experience in site development project management
Proven ability to manage multiple turnkey sites simultaneously
Strong command of Excel (used daily), MS Office, Bluebeam, Outlook, and AIA Billing
Able to read and interpret site drawings and cut sheets (self-rated 8-10/10)
Experience with wet or dry utilities - please specify type in your application
Monthly billing/project projection experience (specify volume in application)
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment based in Reston, VA What's on Offer
