The Plant Engineering department consist of dedicated engineers, technicians, and coordinators with a strong focus on personal development, collaboration, and high professional standards. The Role:
As a Reliability Engineer, you will drive initiatives to strengthen the performance, availability, and efficiency of production and utility equipment. You will play a key role in analysing failures, developing preventive strategies, and leading structured improvements to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and perform root cause analyses on equipment failures, deviations, and unplanned downtimes.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust maintenance strategies—including preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance plans.
Conduct FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis) and risk assessments to prioritize improvement activities.
Assess and adjust spare parts strategies to support equipment reliability.
Develop and coordinate Life Cycle Asset Management in collaboration with our PMO department.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on reliability engineering methods within the site.
Support commissioning and qualification of new equipment to ensure reliability considerations are incorporated from the start.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a structured, analytical, and proactive engineer who enjoys working across functions and driving systematic improvements. You have the following qualifications:
MSc, BSC, or BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Machine or Production Engineering (or similar technical discipline).
Several years of experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or related technical functions—ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or chemical industries.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and the importance of thorough documentation.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Fluent in English; Danish proficiency is an advantage.
