Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies, is seeking a Project Manager with consulting experience supporting the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving meaningful transformation in public health. As a Project Manager, you will lead high-impact initiatives that support FDA clients in planning, executing, and sustaining organizational change. You will collaborate with senior leaders, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely, and client-focused solutions.
This is a fully on-site position. All work will be performed at 10903 Hew Hampshire Avenue, Building 51, 6th Floor, Silver Spring, MD 20993.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all aspects of contract operations involving multiple complex and interrelated project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations.
Set strategic direction for project activities, ensuring alignment with client goals and contractual requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, serving as a trusted point of contact.
Collaborate and consult with clients and team members to shape task plans, review deliverables, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Track and report on technical and financial progress, providing clear updates to both internal leadership and client partners.
Delegate and empower team members by assigning responsibilities and supporting their success in delivering high-quality outcomes.
Craft and deliver impactful client-facing materials, including briefings, reports, and presentations that drive informed decision-making.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Health Systems Administration, or a similar field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in management consulting, with a strong track record of delivering impactful solutions.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting the FDA.
Demonstrated ability to lead and align diverse stakeholders across a complex organization toward a shared mission.
Proven success in organizing and guiding multidisciplinary teams, including senior leaders and clients, through shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
Skilled at managing relationships and communications in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Strong command of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint.
Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, mitigate risks, and prevent escalations.
Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
Ability to obtain a public trust.
This is a fully on-site position. The candidate must commute to the work location Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST.Preferred Qualification
Master's degree in Public Health, Health Systems Administration, or a similar field.

The work location is flexible if the company approves it, except that the position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.
