Blast Technician

ASI is looking for a motivated energetic Blasting Technician. The job is fast paced and physically demanding. Parts will be chemically stripped or coatings removed by plastic media blast cabinet. Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly. Shop hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm and flexible hours are available.

Blast Technician Job Duties:

Clean all applicable parts using a solvent and media blast process.

Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, and workstations neat, and clean.

Completes reports by entering required information into computer.

Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

All applicants must possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent, as well as be able to read, write, and speak the English. Must have mechanical aptitude as well as attention to detail. Applicants must pass a nine- panel pre-employment drug screen and alcohol breath test. ASI is a drug free workplace with a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy. Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted. Prior Military applicants are always welcome.

Salary:

Starting wage is based on experience and qualifications. Weekly pay periods.
