Description:
The Production Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery across various departments. This role follows established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure efficient and accurate production.Requirements:
Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines according to specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, and computer-controlled equipment to assemble components.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and on time.
Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet product specifications and quality standards.
Repair or refit parts or units that do not meet tolerance levels.
Maintain accurate daily production and assembly records.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience with production machinery or mechanical assembly preferred.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions and specifications, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Demands of On the Job Time
Standing & Walking – approximately 2/3.
Weight lifted/Force exerted – approximately 10-50 pounds, 1/3 to 2/3 of time, non-continuously.
Use of hands to finger, handle or feel – approximately greater than 2/3.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
Full-time
