We are looking for a meticulous and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our health organization’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining patient and healthcare-related data in our electronic systems. Your work will help ensure accurate records, regulatory compliance, and smooth daily operations across departments.
Primary Duties:
Enter and update patient details, medical records, and other health data into electronic health record (EHR) systems with precision.
Review data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before and after entry.
Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational data security guidelines.
Conduct routine checks and audits to maintain high data quality.
Work closely with healthcare staff to clarify any unclear or missing information.
Produce reports and support data analysis for internal needs or regulatory requirements.
Scan, file, and archive paper records when needed.
Provide general administrative support such as appointment scheduling, billing assistance, or inventory tracking if required.
