Confirm patient insurance information and obtain all necessary forms and identification
Book, adjust, and reconfirm appointments for fittings, consultations, or equipment pick-ups
Handle referral intake and communicate efficiently with insurance companies and healthcare providers
Maintain and update patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and adherence to office protocols
Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning patient documentation
Monitor DME order statuses, coordinate delivery schedules, and support inventory tracking
Accept payments from patients, issuing receipts and keeping accurate financial documentation
Assist billing staff with insurance follow-ups, claim processing, and general data entry tasks
Ensure the reception and lobby areas remain tidy, stocked, and presentable throughout the day
