QA Automation Engineer (Remote)

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a QA Automation Engineer.

We need someone to assist in automated ETL testing, developing and executing test frameworks, and supporting quality assurance throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities:

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Participate extensively in requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, defect review, QA results analysis, sprint review, and project planning sessions.

Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts such as test data, data validation scripts, and automated scripts.

Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report results.

Perform risk assessments and business requirements validation.

Investigate bugs and write clear, concise defect reports.

Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues.

Essentials:

Technical degree or related work experience.

Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium with Java or similar).

Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks (e.g., Java, Perl).

Hands-on experience with load testing, integration testing, security testing, and server-side testing.

Relational database development experience (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.).

Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with agile development environments.
