Position Overview:
Alexander Group is seeking an experienced Salesforce Platform Developer & Administrator to lead the administration, support and continuous improvement of our Salesforce (SFDC) environment. This role will act as a central hub between business and technical teams, supporting users through insightful data reporting, developing custom enhancements, maintaining high standards of platform integrity, and managing integrations with systems such as ZoomInfo, internal databases and custom-built tools.
Responsibilities:
System Maintenance & Performance
Ensure ongoing optimization, reliability and data integrity of the Salesforce platform
Proactively recommend and implement improvements to optimize user experience and platform utilization
Reporting & Analytics Support
Assist users in developing and refining reports and dashboards using Salesforce reporting tools
Data Quality & Integration
Conduct regular data audits, monitor data quality and investigate anomalies
Manage and validate data integrations from third-party platforms like ZoomInfo
Collaborate with internal teams to sustain secure, uninterrupted data flows with proprietary tools and databases
Customization & Development Support
Develop, maintain and enhance platform customizations including custom objects and fields, flows, page layouts, validation rules, etc
Develop, maintain and enhance custom Apex and SOQL code to support business processes
Translate stakeholder business requirements into clear technical specification
User Enablement & Access Management
Provide onboarding and ongoing training to Salesforce users on system features and best practices
Maintain up-to-date documentation on platform usage, customizations and governance
Manage user roles, profiles and access permissions to ensure secure and compliant system usage
Qualifications (required):
Must be a U.S. Citizen or current green card holder. Please note visa sponsorship is not an option. TN visa accepted
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform
Background in mid- to senior-level roles within medium to large organizations
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration and analytics/reporting capabilities
Experience managing third-party tools, particularly ZoomInfo, within the Salesforce ecosystem
Strong ability to evaluate and validate data inputs from external sources
Excellent communication skills—able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams
Qualifications (preferred):
Salesforce Developer Certification or higher-level Salesforce credentials
Hands-on experience with Salesforce APIs, integration tools or custom connectors
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, and basic proficiency in SQL
Familiarity with dotnet and c#
Hands-on experience developing web-based (hosted) software applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
