Our client is searching for a skilled HSQE Manager to lead the charge in developing and executing high-impact health, safety, quality, and environmental programs. Key Responsibilities & Expertise:

Develop and implement HSQE training programs aligned with regulatory requirements and internal goals

Lead root cause investigations, report outcomes, and drive corrective actions to closure

Maintain and enhance ISM and ISO systems across both operational and administrative domains

Collaborate with operations teams to embed a culture of safety and ensure training needs are proactively addressed

Monitor regulatory updates and support internal audits to maintain compliance and identify improvement opportunities

Serve as primary liaison with external authorities, representing organizational interests and influencing emerging regulations

Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports and performance dashboards for executive leadership

Utilize quality management systems, internal auditing tools, and safety data platforms to track performance and guide decision-making

Provide guidance on return-to-work programs and incident case management in alignment with policy and care standards

Interpret and operationalize Canadian federal legislation and regulatory frameworks in a complex, fast-moving environment

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

5â 8 years of progressive HSQE or compliance experience, ideally within transportation or heavy industrial sectors

At least 3 yearsâ experience applying Canadian regulatory frameworks (e.g., Transport Canada)

Demonstrated expertise with ISM/ISO systems, regulatory audits, safety training delivery, and incident response

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments

Technological proficiency with HSQE software, digital compliance tools, and reporting platforms
