Business Unit Analyst II

JOB LOCATION: 750 Canyon Drive, Coppell TX 75019 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Business Unit Analyst II needed by STMicroelectronics, Inc. in Coppell TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to develop new reporting tools with PowerBI by working with users to help define and articulate their needs by gathering requirements from business users, articulate on the business needs, translate that into comprehensive functional/technical design, and build to deliver solution. Create data visual aids including charts and tables to support data reporting. Develop visual aids by using data visualization tools including Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI. Support internal business processes aimed to improve efficiency and the flow of information among the stakeholders using both Data Visualization and Automation Services. Able to retrieve data from multiple systems including SAP BusinessObjects and ModelN. Perform data driven analytics to identify trends, areas of excellence and areas of improvement to support management team in decision making and strategy definition and execution. Provide proactive insights and analytical support to different internal stakeholders to support effective business decision-making. Track monthly organization KPIs with insights of areas of excellence and concern to top management. Support and maintain the centralized regional reporting and monitoring tools. Diagnose and respond to requests regarding data integrity and functional/ interactive issues in existing dashboards. Participate in corporate task force for the new data architecture migration project from Business Objects to Azure Data Models including collecting needs, testing, and implementation in the region. Validate the data in the Azure database by identifying any gaps with original source data including SAP Business Objects. Partner with IT teams to ensure needs are correctly translated into technical requirements. Transform into a data driven organization by promoting and contributing to the overall strategy and vision of data visualization and interactive dashboard practices at the company. Create short video trainings with PowerBITES using Camtasia that demonstrate functionality of PowerBI for users. Create and maintain the SharePoint Site and Viva Engage Page posts with new application and releases created and analyzing the behavior of visitors to SharePoint Websites. Work on business analysis and data analysis. Utilize analytical skills and to interpret complex data sets. Work with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects. Utilize programming languages including SQL, R, and Python.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master"s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in International Business, Information Technology, or Business Analytics, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related occupation working on business analysis and data analysis; utilizing analytical skills and to interpret complex data sets; working with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects; utilizing programming languages including SQL, R, and Python; developing visual aids by using data visualization tools including Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI.
