Travel Requirements: This position necessitates up to 25% nationwide travel, frequent visits to client locations within the D.C. Metro area, and onsite assignments as directed by RightSeat.

Position Overview

As an AI Solutions Architect (Strategy & Enablement), you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade AI/ML and Generative AI solutions that drive innovation, automation, and business transformation. You will work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to translate strategic goals into scalable, secure, and explainable AI systems that deliver measurable ROI across industries such as finance, healthcare, retail, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on AI/ML architecture, solution design, and deployment strategy.

Lead the development of AI solution roadmaps aligned with business goals, data maturity, and platform capabilities.

Translate business requirements into scalable AI/ML architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

Guide the integration of AI into enterprise platforms, customer experiences, and operational workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and DevOps to ensure secure, compliant, and production-ready deployments.

Present complex AI strategies and architectures to executive stakeholders and technical teams.

Support the transition of prototypes into enterprise-grade systems with clear governance and lifecycle management.

Stay current with emerging trends in GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and responsible AI practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, AI/ML solution design, or digital transformation

Proven experience leading AI/ML strategy and solution delivery in commercial or regulated industries

Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, data governance, and enterprise integration

Ability to lead architecture development across multiple domains (cloud-native, SaaS, edge, hybrid)

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and executive audiences

Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OECD AI Principles)

Required Certifications

Certified Ethical Emerging Technologist (CEET)

Human Factors Certification (e.g., CHFP or CPE)

Data Visualization or Information Design Certification - Such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or Nielsen Norman's Visual Design for Data, supporting the creation of clear, interpretable AI outputs.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and NLP

Background in deploying AI solutions in industries such as healthcare, fintech, or e-commerce

Experience with vector search, semantic reasoning, and explainability techniques

Familiarity with agile delivery, MLOps, and infrastructure-as-code practices

Preferred Certifications

Certified AI Practitioner (CAIP)

TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification

Cloud Architect certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Responsible AI or AI Governance certifications (e.g., CEET, ISO/IEC 42001)
