Job Summary

A leading hospital in Kuwait is seeking a Western-qualified Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty in Sports Medicine. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries, particularly those related to athletic performance, and will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

️ Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions

Perform arthroscopic and minimally invasive procedures

Develop rehabilitation and injury prevention plans for athletes and active individuals

Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, and other specialists

Provide pre- and post-operative care and patient education

Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to hospital and MOH standards

Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education

Qualifications & Requirements

Medical degree with specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery

Fellowship or board certification in Sports Medicine from a recognized Western institution (e.g., UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe)

Minimum 7 years of post-specialization experience

Proven expertise in arthroscopy, joint preservation, and sports injury management

Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
