Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist who can independently program, set up, and operate CNC machines, specifically those with Fanuc or Fadal controls. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in machining a variety of materials, particularly plastics, as well as aluminum and steel.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate 3-axis CNC mills and lathes (Fanuc and Fadal control experience required)

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specs

Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials

Machine plastic components to tight tolerances for fabrication applications

Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments

Maintain machine and tooling cleanliness and readiness

Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to meet production goals

Document setups and programs for repeatability

Adhere to safety standards and shop procedures

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

5+ years of experience in CNC machining (programming & setup)

Proficient in G-code programming and CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar)

Experience machining plastics, aluminum, and steel

Strong understanding of 3-axis CNC milling and turning

Fanuc and/or Fadal CNC controls proficiency

Experience with Wire EDM and Sinker EDM – Preferred

Skilled in surface grinding – Plus

Familiarity with manual lathes and mills – Plus

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full-time
