The Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) is the leading unit of its type in Pakistan, recognized regionally and internationally for the relevance, quality, and extent of its work in support of public health and the development of primary health care systems. It comprises of five major operational sections: Epidemiology & biostatistics, Health policy & management, Population & reproductive health, Environmental health & climate change, and non-communicable diseases & mental health.
This is a grant-funded contractual position.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You are required to:
conduct field surveys, interviews, and observations while ensuring data accuracy and adherence to protocols
recruit participants, obtain informed consent, and fill out patient data forms
ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day research and data collection operations
liaise with supervisors and research coordinators regarding study-related activities
prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports
assist in preparing research reports, manuscripts, and abstracts for publication or presentation
facilitate meetings between research teams and community leaders
manage and log data, complete Case Report Forms (CRFs), and resolve queries
submit quality reports and other project-related documents in coordination with the study coordinator
follow and implement all project-related SOPs and ethical guidelines during fieldwork
prepare and present periodic reports related to project activities
perform any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have:
Doctor of Pharmacy or a relevant field
at least one to two years of relevant experience, preferably in community settings, hospitals, or research facilities
proficiency in data collection tools such as tablets and digital recorders
strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills
proficient in MS Word and Excel
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
strong time management and task prioritization abilities
ability to work both independently and in teams, with resilience under work pressure
willingness to travel and work in community settings as per project requirements.
